Nobody was expecting that a new pair would give the industry such a big hit as Kaho na Pyar Hai did. This film was directed by Rakesh Roshan and music was given by his brother Rajesh Roshan. In this fil Rakesh Roshan launched his son Hrithik Roshan. Initially it was planned that Kareena Kapoor would be starring against Hrithik but that plan didn’t worked. One day Rakesh invited his childhood class fellow for a lunch with his family. Rakesh’s childhood friend was father of Amisha. Amisha was used to dance from the age of 5 years. Rakesh happened to see the performance of Amisha and at the lunch asked her father that would she be doing the film but her father said that he don’t think so as she was looking for something creative.

At that time Amisha came back from USA after completing her education. She joined her father’s business but couldn’t continue it saying that she got bored. Then she joined a financial company. She was doing very well there and higher authorities were happy with her but still she was not satisfied. Once her parents saw her acting in a play and there they recognized what is the work which would make her satisfy. Amisha used to take part in plays and also do the bharat natyam so film industry was not a new thing for her. Once Rakesh Roshan was said no by Amisha’s father , Rakesh again called Amisha with her mother to their home and there he asked directly to Amisha about working in the film. She felt reluctant but agreed to it.

Amisha says that Rakesh treated her like a daughter on the sets. Although acting was not new to her but still she was acting against Hrithik. Hrithik assited his father on sets of Koyla and Karan Arjun and apart from that he also attended acting, fighting and dialogues classes. But still she says that Hrithik was very cooperative with her. That is the reason Amisha was at ease in doing her part to the best of her abilities and skill and as a result the film as well as their pair became a hit.

Now both of them are once again coming in a film named Aap Mujhay Achay Lagnay Lagay. It’s a family drama directed by Vikram Bhatt. Fans are desperately waiting for this film to come on screen. On the sets of the film Amisha also celebrated her birthday. On her birthday she got a lot of gifts including perfumes, clothes and many other things including a flat. Her parents gifted her with a flat in the city which she revealed in that party.
