Kamaluddin Mohammad, writer/director from Kerala is well known for his success as director of Malayli films. Though he started his career as writer in 1981, however, he became popular as skillful director. This is also evident from the Asianet awards received by this versatile director. A unique characteristic of the movies directed by Kamal is the hit music, which always make place in the heart and memories of the audience. After directing some 30 plus Malaylam movies, Kamal is now a days busy in directing his first hindi movie 'Rahen Na Rahen Hum'. It has been reported that recently Kamal has been seen directing this new movie in Bombay for a period of 15 days. The movie is being produced by Nithin Raj Aryadath, and it is going to be distributed by the Eklavya Visions P. Ltd. And now guess who the heroine of this movie is? Well, this is a good news for the fans and followers of the beautiful, gorgeous and glamorous Amisha Patel, because they are going to see her in a completely different role. In her first two movies, “ kahoo na pyar hai” and “Gadar – Ek Prem Katha”, she played the role of an innocent girl. However, in 'Rahen Na Rahen Hum', she is playing the role of a naughty, careless college girl. This carefree girl is full of life and centre of all activities in college. It is expected that Kamal is going to fully utilize her innocent looks and energy for the role of the youthful, romantic college girl. But, the question is who is playing the hero against this innocent beauty? Many names were under consideration; however, the luck supported Ajay Devgun, who is a versatile and mature actor of the bollywood. Ajay Devgun is playing the role of Professor in the movie. Well there is good news for the fans of Mahima Chowdry too. Mahima is playing the role of lover of Ajay Devgun and is paralyzed. Ajay is waiting for her recovery and because of her, he has turned down the love of Amisha. As highlighted in above mentioned paragraphs, that Kamal pays special attention to the music of his movies. So, how he can miss this critical point for his first Hindi movie, 'Rahen Na Rahen Hum'. Many music directors were considered for this purpose, however, at the end Jatin – Lalit were selected for this job. It is reported that in these 15 days schedule, two songs of the movie were also recorded at Sahara Studios. The lyrics for these songs have been written by Israar Ansari and songs were sung by the famous Udit Narayan. Let us hope that this first venture of Kamal in hindi movies prove equal to his fame as Malyalim Director. |
