Amisha Patel is thought to be one of the luckiest actresses in Bollywood as her first three films are blockbusters. Her three blockbuster films are Kaho Na Pyar Hai, Gadar and Badri (Telugu). During the shooting of a film for Tanuja Chandra, Yeh Zinagi Ka Safar, Amisha talked about the responsibilities and expectations which her fans expect from her and from which her shoulders are burdened. She said that she became a big star after the hit of Kaho Na Pyar Hai and after the film Gadar I have became a complete actress. But she said that it is not necessary that every film which she do would be a great hit but she said that she is ready for the dip as well because you cannot feel the real height unless and until you have experienced the downside as well. She tells that when she signed the movie Gadar, then my friends and relatives said that you have gone mad because the director of the film Anil Sharma had number of flop films to his credit and the producer Nittin Keni was also new in the industry and the leading male was Sunny Deol who was also going through a bad patch. She said she was also threatened that in these type of films female leads doesn’t have much work to do and apart from that she had to play role of a mother to a child of 5 years and this is the time when should play role of a college girl. But against all odds I did the role of Sakina and it worked. Amisha is very hopeful that her upcoming film Aap Mujhay Achay Lagnay Lagay would again be a hit. In this film she is acting with Hrithik Roshan with whom she also acted in Kaho Na Pyar hai, which was a blockbuster. She admits that Actors who are children of stars, have much easy time as compared to her but she says that there are directors like Tanuja Chandra, Vikram Bhatt and Anil Sharma who do not believe in this thing and they only believe in providing good cinema. She says that star children can get many chances after failure as compared to someone from outside. She says that despite of all the hurdles she has done well and she is confident of her upcoming films as well. She says that it’s the plot of the film which makes it a hit or a flop. Answering about his scandal with Sunny Deol she said these junks are just for bathroom reading and to be flushed down. |
